How does datacenter.paris differ from a broker or listing platform?
We own and operate every facility listed. There are no empty listings, no brokered capacity, and no intermediaries. Every MRC shown comes directly from our operations team, the same organization that controls the power feed, cooling plant, and meet-me room. SLAs are backed by the entity you contract with.
Can I configure a multi-site deployment across multiple cities?
Yes. The configurator supports multi-site configurations across our eight facilities, including Paris intra-muros (PAR2, PAR3, PAR5, PAR6), Marseille, Lille, and Grenoble. Contract structures can consolidate billing under a single master agreement with per-site SLAs and independent power feeds.
What happens if my power requirement exceeds available capacity at a specific site?
Available capacity is reviewed in real time during the RFI process. If a specific site is at capacity, we scope an equivalent configuration at the nearest alternative facility, typically within the same metropolitan zone. For hyperscale requirements above 10 MW, we may propose greenfield development with fixed expansion rights written into the LOI.
How is pricing indexed over the contract term?
Base MRC for retail+ and wholesale contracts includes a fixed annual escalation cap written into the MSA. Indexation is capped at a defined percentage tied to a specified benchmark, not subject to operator discretion. This cap is negotiated at signing and is not a surprise in year two of your contract.
Is datacenter.paris compliant with NIS2 obligations for critical infrastructure operators?
Our operations align with the NIS2 Directive (EU 2022/2555) requirements applicable to essential service providers. Physical security, redundancy architecture, incident response procedures, and supply chain controls are documented and available for audit. For operators subject to NIS2 as downstream essential entities, we provide the necessary infrastructure-level evidence package upon request.
